I have a long post, including the previous Day 29 post coming up. I just need to flesh out the details.

Day 29

Day 29 went fairly well. I realise this post is massively late and I apologise, but truthfully I’ve been procrastinating much more than necessary.

I remade the Egyptian Foul, I had all the correct ingredients and it was much better than last time. My cold seems to be going away though my sinuses still seemed clogged. Work was uneventful and fairly slow, although I’m quite fatigue from these three weeks of work. I am looking forward to few days off not to mention, going back to Jujutsu. I’m somewhat anxious about Day 30 and what I’ll do from there. Part of me wants to continue eating my current diet for a myriad for reasons; the other part of me is eager to return to my previous diet. .

Some people find it ludicrous that I am even thinking of continuing this for any extended period of time. Others find it “cool” that I’ve lasted this long. I really do not know what to do.

I’ll post a summary of my experiences for Day 30.

Day 28

Day 28 was again filled with work.

I did get to have lunch with my girlfriend at an Indian Restaurant where I seriously had the worst drink in the history of Joel. It was called a Salty Yogurt Lassi...and..it was salty and...gross. I wanted to try something different but...just...wow. Aside from that, the meal was pricey and fairly delicious. I think I prefer Asian Garden over this one though.

I took more of Fen Ling's strange Brazilian concoction, it again, seemed to help. I have a strange, annoying, cough that is persisting.

I have yet to receive any suggestions on I what I should do after Day 30.

Day 27

I'm sick >.<

I'll catch up on my posts soon, promise.

UPDATE
So I am actually catching up on my blog posts. Most of my days have consisted in being sick and passing out in short order.

Day 27, Monday, was fairly quiet at work and I was quite thankful for that. I didn't eat for the majority of the day because I couldn't really stomach anything. I am wondering, however, if my lowered/vulnerable immune system is a long term effect of my vegetarianism. I have heard a variety of rumours in regards to this, but I've heard the complete opposite as well., Nonetheless, I have been attempting to eat better and more often, which, I hope shouldn't affect my health or skew my experiment. Though in all fairness, I've been sickness-less and healthy for a while now, I may just be that I finally caught some kind of strange cold or flu.

I drank lots of fluids and consistently took a combination of vitamin C, echinacea and Tylenol to keep my fever low and to dull the aches in my body. The cook also suggested I drink lots of Lemon Grass tea, which is apparently good for a cold/flu and she gave me a strange Brazilian solution/extract. I have no idea what it was, but it was strong and I had to place it under my tongue. I also had to drink some water immediately afterwards; though it seems that it did soothe my throat a bit, which was nice.

Chinese/Taiwanese have many odd remedies and cures, in a way, it's part of their culture, so I'm not entirely surprised when they offer me foreign, strange smelling (or tasting) solutions, balms and concoctions. I just accept it and hope it works.

I still feel like crap so hopefully I'll begin to feel better tomorrow.

Day 26

Oops! Sorry, I forgot to post on the 1st of February so my blog dates messed up. Anyway, I had a fairly good Sunday.

I relaxed for a majority of it because it was the only day I had off that week. I also made an Egyption meal called Foul (pronounced: Fool). I had to substitute or omit a few ingrediants since I didn't have tomatoes, lemon or fava beans. It was still fairly good and I shared it with a friend, who also happens to be vegetarian. She approved as well.

I think I'll make certain to have all the ingredients next time and I won't sub/omit certain items. It'll make it creamier and more dip-like. I'll also procure myself naan or chapati bread to go with it.

I started feeling slightly ill on Sunday, I'm a little concerned by it since I'll have to work regardless of my health. Short of dying, that is.

Not much else happened. I took Sunday pretty easy as a day off.
