Sorry for the very late post guys. I was unbelievably exhausted yesterday and I wanted nothing but sleep. I, also, only got home a short time ago.
As a resume yesterday's events, I was quite tired all morning and early afternoon. It was fairly slow at work which tends to not only bore me but tire me as well.
In all honesty, I haven't been eating as well as I should the last 3-4 days and I can definitely feel a drop in my energy levels. Yesterday, my meals consisted of light breakfast, a light Zen Gardens lunch and I essentially had to forgo supper because I had Jujutsu class at 8:00pm.
For those who aren't familiar with Jujutsu. It's a contact Japanese Martial Art which incorporates strikes, grappling take-downs and throws. It is fairly well rounded Martial Art, in comparison to others.
Attending Jujutsu class with an empty stomach is not a very good idea; however attending class with a full stomach is -really- bad idea, in the I-feel-like-I'm-going-to-vomit sense. We stopped at a nearby convenience store and I decided to purchase and scarf down two protein/meal replacement bars shortly before class. They were actually pretty good and gave me that light-meal feeling; though I still felt as if I had eaten something of substance. I enjoyed them, truthfully. I can guarantee I won't solely substite on them but I'm glad to know they're not awful or made from animal materials. Speaking of which, on a number of occasions I've been requierd to check labels because many items, including some candy, contains "animal gelatin", a product made from animal fat. Luckily, the meal replacement bars were made from wheat and soy.
